New Passive Solar Home

Kennington Project

Situated on a smaller inner city block this home design is a great example of how good design can achieve an efficient home when there are design restraints in place. This two story home achieved an 7.4 Start energy rating on a 450m2 block. We were able to achieve clever passive design principles eliminating all west windows and great shading to the north double glazed windows. A thermal mass spine wall runs through the house for added thermal mass.
