Mandurang Off Grid Project

Case Study

(currently under construction)

The need for efficiency and comfort can derive from different needs within the client’s life. This custom home design will be situated on a bush block of 20 acres. The cost of supplying power to the home tipped the decision to go off-grid and strengthened the client’s initial desire to live more sustainable.

Zinc Cladding with Recycled Brick

Off Grid – Passive House Build

This three bedroom home was designed around their liking to be outdoors. A mud room offers a clean entrance with joinery designed to maximise usability and storage. A durable finish with burnished concrete floors, recycled brick will be robust, and styled to suit an easy clean no fuss home.

This home has been upgraded to our Passiveplus specifications. This incorporates Passive House design principles and includes Thermaline double glazed windows, an air tight building fabric using Intello Plus and a Mechanical Ventilation HVAC to ensure the highest quality of internal air year round.

This home really pushes the boundaries in hi-performance building systems and leads the way for more of our home to be modeled off in the future.
